Debora and me met Dante from Argentina in our hostal and we discovered together the Machu Picchu.

Der Machu Picchu - muss man sehen wenn man nach Suedamerika reist. Das ist eine alte Incastadt nahe Cuzco auf ca. 2500 m.
Debora und ich trafen Dante aus Argentinien in unserem Hostal und wir entdeckten gemeinsam den Machu Picchu.
We had to get there very early in the morning. We wanted to climb up the Wayna Picchu, a mountain close to Machu Picchu, and there only 400 tickets available per day.So we had to line up for the bus at 5 am to get to the MP at 6 and get a ticket.

Wir mussten sehr frueh morgens am Machu Picchu sein. Wir wollten auf den Wayna Picchu, ein Berg neben dem Machu Picchu, klettern und dafuer gibt es nur 400 Tickets pro Tag.
Wir mussten uns morgens um 5 fuer den Bus anstellen um gegen 6 am MP zu sein und ein Ticket zu bekommen.

Der Berg im Hintergrund ist der Wayna Picchu; wir wollten da wirklich bis auf die Spitze.
Mostly the way was like this and it took 1 1/2 hours to get to the top.------------------------
Der Weg nach oben meist so steil wie hier zu sehen. Es dauerte ca 1 1/2 Stunden bis wir oben waren.

And this was on the top. There where really only some rocks where you could climb and sit and enjoy a fantastic view... ok, was a little cloudy.---------------------
Und das war ganz oben. Es gab wirklich nur ein paar Felsen, wo man raufklettern konnte und sitzen konnte und den fantastischen Ausblick geniessen konnte... ok, es war etwas truebe.

and of course Lamas again...and now some pictures from Machu Picchu. The town was only discovered 1911 and so far its said there 25% reconstructed. The other part is still covered with plants. The Incas lived 50 years there and than they disappeared and nowbody knows why and where they've gone.

und natuerlich gab es wieder Lamas...
und hier einige Fotos vom Machu Picchu. Die Stadt wurde erst 1911 entdeckt und bisher sind ungefaehr 25% rekonstruiert. Der Rest ist immer noch von Pflanzen bedeckt. Die Incas lebten ca. 50 Jahre hier, danach verschwanden sie und man weiss nicht warum und wohin.
