Mount Chimborazo- Ecuador

Even it was already one week ago; here an update about Ecuador:
I went by bus from Riobamba to the mount Chimborazo. This mountain is the highest in Ecuador (maybe also south america?) and because of the position close to the aequator the distance between the top and the middle of the earth is the longest in the world.
The bus brought me to the bottom of the mountain to 4500 m. Than I wanted to walk up to 4800 m which is actually not that difficult... I thought. But with this high every step was very slow and I felt like 80 years old.
Fortunately a car gave me a ride up. Down was not that difficult and I could manage it by myself.
The few was spectacular also thanks to the good weather and I saw lots of lamas (kind of small lama, has a different name but I dont remember).

Auch wenn es schon eine Woche her ist, hier kommt ein update von Ecuador:
Ich fuhr mit dem Bus zum Berg Chimborazo. Dieser Berg ist der hoechste in Ecuador (vielleicht auch in ganz Suedamerika?) und wegen der Naehe zum Aequator ist die Distanz zwischen Spitze und dem Mittelpunkt der Erde die laengste in der Welt.
Der Bus brachte mich zum Fuss des Berges auf 4500 m und ich wollte bis auf 4800 m rauf laufen was eigentlich nicht so schwierig ist... dachte ich. Aber bei dieser Hoehe war jeder Schritt sehr langsam und ich fuehlte mich wie eine 80 jaehrige.
Zum Glueck hat mich dann ein Auto mit nach oben genommen. Runter habe ich es dann allein geschafft.
Die Aussicht war spektakulaer auch wegen des schoenen Wetters und ich habe viele Lamas gesehen (eine Art kleines Lama; es hat einen anderen Naman, aber ich erinnere mich nicht mehr dran).
